Seemingly living in a fantasy novel.

Kindergarten through 3rd grade, evenings spent with babysitters in Jazz clubs.

1st grade, completes a perfect, free-hand sketch of Michelangelo’s Creation of Man.

At the age of 11, I used the money that I made working in a cement plant to purchase a standup bass. I walked with it to local Jazz clubs, where I met Erroll Garner.

Later, with a glass to the door, I would listen in as my sister received Opera lessons.

Local kids formed their own bands and I joined in.

In Spanish Harlem I heard Rap music. It made its way to house parties. Jazz and Rap blended in my mind. Yielding zero profit, some local groups used a few of my ideas. Nothing of note.

The movie “Pumping Iron” hits the theaters. Soon after, I run my first marathon, start lifting weights and start to play Judo.

Now I head west, got to spend time with J.J. Cale.

Got a job as the room service Captain at the Hotel Excelsior where I met Frederica Von Stade & Tina Turner.

9-11 hits. Three brain surgeries later, I am painting full time during recovery.

Special mention to the Pisces Cafe.

2012 artwork on canvas metamorphosizes.

2016 Photographer Len Marks takes an award winning headshot of me.

2022 The Pandemic fades. However, in October, both my father and sister pass away.

2023 My expressiveness does not darken. Rather, an increased interest in exploring acting leads me to contact Reelarc.
